A Dream Comes True: A Personal Memoir

Driving on north Main Street in Attleboro, near the north Purchase Cemetery, some may have noticed that the Thomas Barden House that dated from 1750, as well as the quaint old barn with the “Just-a- Mere-Farm” sign, are gone. A piece of history has disappeared. In its place a modern, one-story building has suddenly arisen. The colorful tiles adorning the walls are eye-catching. Times have changed and a new history is beginning.
